What is a Computer?
A computer is an electronic machine that accepts information (data), processes it according to specific instructions, and provides the results as new information.

It can store and move large quantities of data at high speeds, but it cannot think! It can only make simple decisions and comparisons and it must be provided with instructions in the form of a computer program, a list of instructions written in a special language that the computer understands.
