Formatting the Page
The steps to format a Web
page with Dreamweaver MX are not that much different from the steps to format
text in Microsoft Word. The text formatting buttons in the Property Inspector
work almost the same way as those in Word. The following list describes how
to apply various formatting attributes:
- If the Properties Inspector
is not visible, click Window, and then click Properties.
- First, highlight the
text to be formatted, and then click on the desired button in the Property
Inspector.
- The font color is set
using the button immediately to the right of the Size box in the Property
Inspector. Click the button and click on the desired color using the color
palette to apply the color to the highlighted text.
- The buttons along the
right edge of the Properties Inspector apply formatting to the selected text.
- To undo any entry in
Dreamweaver MX, click Edit on the main menu (second line
on the screen) and click the Undo button.
- Using
the format menu,, format the text so that it resembles
